Vice President, Head of Asset Management Risk

Avinesh joined Mackenzie in 2018. He is responsible for the risk governance framework. His role ensures all risks generated by the Mackenzie businesses are measured, reviewed and monitored on an ongoing basis. This includes working with partners to manage, identify, evaluate and report the firm’s risks from both external and internal factors. Avinesh has over 15 years of progressive experience in both risk management and internal audit while working for global investment banks.

Avinesh earned a BComm from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management. He is also a CFA charterholder and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).
